Image of the Week – McPherson, Kansas 3/23/10

Downtown McPherson, Kansas surprised me with these colorful storefronts.  Some folks worry that they detract from the historic quality of their Main Street but I like them!

From dowtown Toronto.
Four internationally acclaimed aerosol artists got together and collaboratively interpreted what faith meant to them on an exterior wall donated by Metropolitan United Church. After two weeks of hard work, the mural was unveiled to the public.

Image of the Week – Cotswolds 9/20/09

Local retail from Stroud in the Cotswolds.  Many communities have their versions of these types of retail establishments, but this one has a quaintness about it.
